In response, the Waterloo Region Labour Council will be hosting an Enough is Enough Expo. A family-friendly and non-partisan event, we are inviting progressive community organizations, charities, social justice minded groups, coalitions, neighborhood associations, and unions from across the entire region to host an information booth from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at Carl Zehr Square at Kitchener City Hall.
We may not able to change the hours of our general membership meeting as not everyone would get the message and our members are used to a 10:00am time. We’ll review if we can change it to 9 or 9:30 so we can be at the event.
I aim to keep this meeting very short and encourage all of our members to attend this event. In fact, I may be conducting our meeting remotely at this location, at City Hall. Since the meeting is on Zoom, you too can be on your cell phones and in attendance at the event. We can choose to table reports to the following meeting if needed.
