The Local is pleased to announce that the Regional Office is holding a Fall 5 Day Regional Educational to be held from Sunday Sept. 8th/19 to Friday Sept. 13th/19 at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites, Richmond Hill, Toronto.
Fighting Back & Lobbying:
This course is designed to develop the capacity of members to lead and organize struggles in the workplace and more broadly in society. It calls on participants to shed the mindset of victimization and powerlessness, and develop power through organizing.

All requests to attend this educational must be submitted to the Local by 12 noon on Monday Aug. 5th/19. The Local Education Committee will review all applicants and submit names to Regional for consideration.

**Remember, these Five-Day Educational Seminars are done on an application basis. The Regional Executive Committee will review all applications and make their decision of the successful applicants on the criteria of:
* Gender Parity
* Equity Groups
* Local Needs & Size
* Discussions with Local Executives
There may be mandatory evening sessions. This will be at the discretion of the facilitators.
