ELECTION & SPECIAL PRESENTATION

Special orders of business:

Election of New Bylaw created 3rd Trustee position.

Presentation of Lifetime Membership to Brother John Wastell.
Nominations must be:
Moved by a member in good standing.
In writing, signed by the mover. ( emails are accepted )
Trustees:
13.1 The Trustees shall consist of three (3) members in good standing.
Nominations & Elections:
8.1-Local Bylaws–The Local Secretary Treasurer shall receive nominations in writing for elections as per article 8.2 of the Local Bylaws, no later than thirty (30) days prior to the elections.
8.2-Local Bylaws–Elections of officers shall be held in accordance with article 5.9 of the Local Bylaws.
8.3 a)-Local Bylaws–A Member must have attended 2/3rds of the meetings during the past twenty-four(24) months prior to the date of the election in order to be eligible to stand for election.
5.9- Election of the Local Executive Committee Officers & Trustees shall take place in the month of September in the year that the National Convention is to be held.
9.07- (Constitution)—All Local Officers and Local Executive Committee members must be members in Good Standing on the date of election and remain in good standing during their term of office.
** Please note, a member can still be nominated whether or not they have the meeting requirements. Depending on the circumstances, a member may be acclaimed or be running for office against other members who do not have the meeting requirements.
